VERSATEX is created from cellular PVC. It is moisture and insect resistant, yet features the real cedar look and woodworking characteristics a fine builder/craftsman desires. The result is a product limited only by your imagination. It is smooth on one side and textured on the other. VERSATEX is an ideal product for highly moisture sensitive areas including those with high humidity. Most of the problems associated with wood trims are eliminated with VERSATEX. No more warping, cupping or splitting, just a trimboard with high aesthetic value for years to come. It does not require painting because it is UV resistant. However, if you choose to paint VERSATEX it must be a color with an LRV (Light Reflective Value) of 55 or higher.
