Fypon and Versatex Exterior Trim
Fypon Moulded Millwork is constructed of urethane foam created by mixing isocyanate and resin. The mixture is kept under pressure in a mould as it expands to any desired shape. The result is a high-density, thermoset material that is perfect for interior or exterior trim. If you're searching for a product that resists rot, mildew, insects, warping and splintering, you've come to the right place! These are just a few of the reasons architects specify urethane millwork for decorative and functional pieces to residential and commercial projects. Made of high density materials, Fypon pieces have a closed cell structure that prevents water penetration and absorption. Each piece has a consistent quality and finish, which requires no additional priming or sealing. In fact, each piece is coated at our manufacturing location with a double-primed exterior grade ultraviolet stable coating. Once products are installed, they can be painted, stained and faux finished. Looking for more reasons to specify urethane millwork? The products can be used on both the interior and exterior of your projects, are virtually maintenance free and are lighter in weight than wood or plaster, so there's job site savings on time and labor. And, if you want to be a true hero to your clients, you'll appreciate the promise that we ship our standard and special-fabricated millwork pieces within five working days. If you've got some extra time, you can even have us create custom designed pieces for you!

VERSATEX is created from cellular PVC. It is moisture and insect resistant, yet features the real cedar look and woodworking characteristics a fine builder/craftsman desires. The result is a product limited only by your imagination. It is smooth on one side and textured on the other. VERSATEX is an ideal product for highly moisture sensitive areas including those with high humidity. Most of the problems associated with wood trims are eliminated with VERSATEX. No more warping, cupping or splitting, just a trimboard with high aesthetic value for years to come. It does not require painting because it is UV resistant. However, if you choose to paint VERSATEX it must be a color with an LRV (Light Reflective Value) of 55 or higher.
